New Norwich Store for Kent Blaxill

New Barker Street InteriorKent Blaxill has moved to new, larger premises in Barker Street, Norwich as they celebrate 180 years as a decorative and building supplies merchant in the East of England.

James Park, Commercial Director, said “We are thrilled with the new site – it’s bigger than our previous site, with a great deal more parking for customers and the additional space means we can offer an even wider range of quality decorating products to both the trade and retail market.”

He continued, “There’s a new colour paint station which will feature not only the top trade paints such as Crown and Dulux but also superb designer paints from Little Greene, Sanderson, Farrow & Ball and Designer’s Guild plus new environmentally sustainable paint brand, Tikkurila.  We will also have a huge range of designer wallpapers, so we can offer Norwich decorators an outstanding choice of textures and colours.”

New to the Barker Street store will be a specialist coatings area with a wide range of treatments such as cladding, floor paints for hygiene areas, roofs and steel. Danielle Fogarty-Emerson is Kent Blaxill’s in-house specialist coatings representative and she will be on hand to offer customers independent advice, backed up by in-depth stocks of a wide range of specialist coatings products.

Managing Director Simon Blaxill said, “The new location in the city of Norwich is obviously very important for Kent Blaxill.  The Board decided in 2017 to invest heavily in our staff development and in creating store interiors that match the requirements of our discerning customers – the bigger store in Norwich with better parking and a wider range of products does exactly that.”
