Manufacturer Safeguard has launched its new Dryzone Mould Remover Gel, designed to tackle stubborn mould without scrubbing.
Unlike conventional sprays, the new Dryzone Mould Remover Gel has a thick consistency that allows it to cling to vertical surfaces and be applied precisely to problem areas such as silicone seals, grout and joints.
The low-odour gel requires no scrubbing and can be left to work for at least six hours or overnight before being wiped away.
Head of research & development at Safeguard Europe, Dr Jonathan Kirby, said: “Anyone who has tried to remove mould from a washing-machine seal or around bathroom silicone will know how awkward it can be. We wanted to develop something that could be applied exactly where it was needed and stay there while it worked, rather than simply running down the surface.
“It’s taken us more than two years and over 200 formulations to get the product exactly where we wanted it, so we’re incredibly excited to finally see it on sale. We’re also really proud that it’s been developed, tested and manufactured by our team here in Horsham.”
Dryzone Mould Remover Gel is available as a two-tube pack or as a single tube supplied with a microfibre cloth.
