Plumbing and HVAC distributor Navigator MSL has released its latest pre-insulated copper tubes under its Thorsys branding.
Manufactured from 99.9% Cu-DHP copper tube, the product uses 9mm expanded close cell polyethylene insulation and a UV-resistant LDPE protective outer covering, providing an effective installation-ready alternative to conventional on-site pipe insulation for air conditioning, VRF systems, split units, refrigeration and industrial systems.
Fire safety is maximised by the products conforming to DIN 4102-B1 and EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, dO as a self-extinguishing grade with non-toxic gas emissions. The tube is resistant to external chemical agents and UV rays, as well as having crush resistant construction,. They are also resistant to water and moisture, and are HCFC-free.
Single coil products come in 20 metre coils whilst twin coil products come in 10 or 15 metre coils.
