Senior leaders from Travis Perkins Hire will swap the boardroom for the coastal path this October, as they take on a section of the Jurassic Coast.
Managing director Ian Sharman-Jones, along with other members of the business’ senior leadership team will walk more than 13 miles to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, the company’s chosen charity.
Starting at Corfe Castle in Dorset, the route will see the SLT climb onto Purbeck Ridge before making their way into Kimmeridge Bay. They then head back onto the coastal path before completing a loop and ending the journey where they started.
Head of national sales at Travis Perkins Hire, Carly Ford, said: “Everyone at Travis Perkins does a wonderful job raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, and as a leadership team we wanted to do our bit and that is why we have set ourselves this ambitious challenge.
“We expect it to be incredibly difficult, but we know it will be for a brilliant cause.”
