Alsford expand mill through sales appointment

Alsford Timber & Builders’ Merchant has announced the appointment of Max Dempster as head of central sales for Alsford Mill & Manufacturing Services.

Based at Alsford’s timber mill in Erith, Kent, Dempster will work with new customers to increase awareness of the specialist timber solutions available through the mill, helping them unlock opportunities for greater efficiency, improved consistency and simplified timber procurement.

Alsford operations director Justin Hood comments; “Our timber mill has always been a core part of our business and an important part of how we support our customers. We already work with merchants, developers and contractors across the industry, and we’re seeing increasing opportunities to expand those partnerships further through widening our service offering.
