Saint-Gobain join the UK Green Building Council

Jewson parent company, Saint-Gobain, have joined the UK Green Building Council (UK GBC), reinforcing their commitment to providing sustainable solutions in terms of energy, housing and the environment.
Saint-Gobain’s strategy is to join forces with other leading businesses to share knowledge and encourage best practice across the industry.

Roland Lazard, general delegate for Saint-Gobain UK, Ireland & South Africa said: “Since its launch last year, the UK GBC has had a significant impact on the industry, helping to create a unified voice and bring sustainability issues to the top of the agenda. We are proud to be part of such an influential organisation and look forward to working with members to turn our vision of a sustainable future into a reality.”

UK GBC chief executive Paul King also commented: “The input of forward-thinking companies is invaluable when it comes to tackling the problem of climate change. We are delighted to welcome Saint-Gobain on board to help us in our campaign for a sustainable built environment.”
