Grant & Stone managing director Darren House has entered the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).
This year marks AWEBB’s fiftieth anniversary, and members and suppliers have set an ambitious collective fundraising target of £50,000 for the EIC. The marathon effort forms a key part of this milestone campaign.
House will be joined on the challenge by colleague Mark Lambert, with the pair personally aiming to raise £10,000.
Electrical Industries Charity’s managing director Jess Vailima shared “We are incredibly proud that Darren has chosen to run the London Marathon in support of our charity. Every penny raised through this challenge goes directly back into the industry, enabling us to provide vital support services to those who need them most from mental health and wellbeing support to training, legal advice, financial assistance and more. The dedication and commitment of volunteers like Darren make this work possible, and the impact of their efforts is felt right across our industry and community.”
