Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS), which operates social housing, and the Hyde Group (Hyde), one of the largest housing providers in London and the South East, have signed a five-year agreement.
The deal will see TPMS supply building materials to Hyde operatives so they can repair and maintain the portfolio of 120,000 homes that Hyde owns and manages.
Hyde’s operatives will be supported with a network of branches in and around London, Kent and the South coast, where they can call in to collect materials and replenish van stock. TPMS has also committed to placing skips in selected branches for operatives to easily dispose of waste.
Hyde will also use Travis Perkins Managed Services’ web-based platform TPgo data for up-to-date data insights to inform business decision-making. The deal will also benefit residents thanks to TPMS’s social value scheme.
TPMS social housing business development director Catherine Castillo-Soto, said: “This five-year agreement with The Hyde Group puts the needs of the residents at the heart of the partnership. It will also make life more convenient for their operatives, giving them access to the right materials at the right time and making their job a little easier. It also means residents can benefit from the highest possible standards of housing and timely repairs and maintenance.”
