Parker Building Supplies branch manager Aaron Palmer has raised funds for Teenage Cancer Trust with a charity haircut.
The Hassocks branch manager has taken ‘bald’ action after promising his family he would cut his hair when he turned 50. Palmer chose to combine this personal commitment with charitable giving, and has already raised £880 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting the unique needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer. It provides specialist nursing care, emotional support, and age-appropriate facilities to ensure that young people do not face cancer alone. The funds raised by will go directly towards helping the charity continue its vital work.
Grace Higgins, senior area relationship manager at Teenage Cancer Trust, commented “We’re so grateful for this fundraising effort. Every pound raised helps us provide specialist nurses and support for young people facing cancer, ensuring they don’t have to go through it alone.”
