Colleagues and suppliers of Travis Perkins Managed Services (TPMS) took to the court to take part in a netball charity fundraiser for Bowel Cancer UK.

More than 150 colleagues, suppliers and sponsors took part in the charity tournament hosted at Benham Sports Arena in Northampton, raising almost £5,000 for the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity.

This is the fourth time TPMS has hosted the fundraiser, with more than 10 suppliers across the construction sector entering teams or making donations that added to the final amount raised.

Sarah Glennon from Travis Perkins Managed Services said: “We had a brilliant day hosting our annual charity netball event, and we are thrilled to have raised £4,700 for Bowel Cancer UK.

“The netball was incredibly competitive as it always is, and the winners were well deserving of their crown. Everyone played with great sportsmanship while keeping the focus on raising money for a great cause.

Teams that participated in the tournament included Procurement for Housing as well as suppliers Altro Limited and Geberit alongside a host of internal teams across the Travis Perkins Group.

The overall winner of the competition was the Travis Perkins Category team.
