Sydenhams acquire Snows Timber, Glastonbury

Sydenhams  have announced that they have acquired the Snows Timber, Glastonbury operation based in Somerset. The 12 acre Timber site will begin trading as Sydenhams from 1st March 2019.

Charles Sherborne, Joint Managing Director is very excited with the acquisition, stating “This represents a fantastic opportunity to grow the Sydenhams estate further. Like ourselves, Snows are a well-established and respected name within the Timber industry and date back to the late 1800’s, so it is a good fit with our current portfolio.

Glastonbury itself is a fantastic site and will fit in perfectly with our existing branch network, whilst also giving us the opportunity to supply into new locations and to new customers. Glastonbury will become a complete one-stop shop for Timber related products and we will quickly be looking to enhance both the service and product offering they currently give.”

This acquisition brings Sydenhams up to 32 branches overall including our Builders Merchants, Timber Centres, Tool & Plant Hire Centres, Kitchen & Bathroom Showrooms, Flooring and Timber Engineering sides of the business.
