More than 40,000 colour options – and almost 200 different types of paint – are now available for same-day delivery across London, after leading decorating and DIY specialist Leyland SDM partnered with Gophr.
Painters and decorators now have access to an astonishing array of colours and finishes, available within just hours anywhere in the capital. Leyland SDM has a vast selection of thousands of paints in its 33 stores, available in some of the most popular brands, including Dulux Trade, Dulux Heritage, Leyland, Johnstone’s, Little Green, Armstead, Paint Library and Farrow & Ball. And Leyland SDM also offers an in-store paint mixing service, which makes tens of thousands more colours available from the full catalogue of the brands.
The partnership with last-mile, on-demand delivery network Gophr means that any products can be delivered on the same day, seven days a week, with no limit on product type, size of order or distance from store.
Martin Bull, Leyland SDM commercial director, said: “We are renowned for our incredible range of decorator-standard paints in the widest range of finishes for every job.
“Our impressive number of locations across the capital, coupled with our early opening and late closing times, has long offered ultimate convenience to professional decorators working in London.
“Now, for the times when it is inconvenient or impossible to leave a job, decorators can utilise our partnership with Gophr to get products – no matter how big or small – delivered straight to where they are within hours.
“It will save decorators valuable time and allow them to complete the job as quickly as possible, maximising profit.”
The partnership marks the latest expansion of Gophr Trades, a specialist delivery service for the construction and DIY industries as well as larger construction and related trade businesses.
To make use of the same-day delivery option, customers can simply call their nearest Leyland SDM store and staff will process the order for them in a matter of minutes, whilst providing instant and transparent pricing information. The service also includes accurate tracking links so customers can follow their delivery every step of the way and contact their courier directly for updates. Small items are delivered by bike while larger items come in a van.
Bull added: “We are always looking for new ways to offer industry-leading service to tradespeople and this is a fantastic new option to make life a little easier for our hard-working customers.”
