Thieves strike at Hull builders merchant

Thousands of pounds worth of tools have been stolen from a branch of builders merchant Jewson in Hull.
Tools worth £3,720 were stolen from the Jewson branch in Rotterdam Road.

A silver Ford Transit van was driven into the yard and parked in the drive before a man was seen placing tools into the van.

When approached by a member of staff, the van, containing three people, was driven away, according to police.

The stolen tools included two cordless Bosch drills, a Makita disc cutter and a generator.
