Fakro have launched a LWF loft ladder which breaks new ground for the manufacturer as the product’s hatch has achieved 30-minute fire protection standard when tested to BS EN 131 Part 2 1493.
As with all Fakro’s two, three and four-part folding ladders, the LWF is made from close-grain redwood pine which is guaranteed to be knot-free.
Features include an adjustable spring-operated opening mechanism, treads, which are 340mm wide by 70mm deep and have grooves cut into them for added safety, fitted to the frame by dovetail joints and an overall U-value of 1.1W/m2K.
