Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Builders merchant group Wolseley have won a West Midlands environmental award for their Sustainable Building Center in Leamington Spa.
Wolseley UK picked up the judges’ special ‘Carbon Positive Pioneer of the Year’ trophy for having the biggest impact on the West Midlands.
They were applauded for the £3.2 million Sustainable Building Center in Leamington Spa, which can be used by customers and decision makers to find out about more than 7,000 sustainable products.
These include photovoltaics, micro wind, sedum roof, e-glazing and rainwater harvesting, plus biomass and green floor coverings.
