Parker Building Supplies employee takes on charity boxing match

Luke Tuffield, a branch manager from Parkers Building Supplies will take part in a men’s charity boxing show on December 3, raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Luke Tuffield said: “Cancer has touched my family more than once and the work the amazing team at Macmillan Cancer Support do is inspirational. Standing in a ring being punched for six minutes is nothing compared to what people with cancer endure on a daily basis.

Macmillan Cancer Support raises funds to provide vital cancer services, research and better cancer care. The organisation supports the cancer workforce and comprises millions of professionals, volunteers and campaigners.

Tuffield added: “I’m in the best shape since my teens and boxing is definitely a hobby I will continue after the show in December. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, and to the amazing team at Parkers, who are providing me with so much support. It is hugely appreciated.”
