Duravit has published its latest Sustainability Report, setting out the company’s progress, measures and goals as it continues to embed sustainability across its global business.
Prepared in line with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the report reflects Duravit’s preparations for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), supported by a comprehensive double materiality assessment and data collection software from Tanso.
The report is structured around five key action areas, climate, water, people, resources, and governance and highlights initiatives including the systematic expansion of climate-friendly production, which includes Duravit’s new plant in Canada, an important area of investment into sustainability. The new plant will feature electric roller kilns.
By integrating sustainability into its corporate strategy, controlling processes and global site network, Duravit is reinforcing its commitment to greater transparency and responsible long-term growth.
