September 18th is Maddie’s Day, when everyone across the industry is encouraged to wear something yellow, and share images of their best yellow selves across the social media to raise awareness of the Maddie Rose Foundation.
The Foundation promotes and supports young people across the building material supplies sector, helping them to enter, progress and shine in this vibrant, welcoming industry.
Wear a yellow bucket hat, the brightest yellow T-Shirt, a pair of lemon-coloured shorts, a neon yellow kipper tie, or a sun-dress that’s the colour of sunflowers. Or, just find the brightest, most yellow flowers you can and post a picture of them.
Donations to the Maddie Rose Foundation are always welcome, however, Maddie’s Day is about more than fundraising, it’s about raising awareness of the Foundation. More than that, it celebrates the life of Maddie, who so loved this sector, and who inspired so many to come together in her name to build future careers.
Whatever you wear, wherever you post your images, use the hashtags #maddierosefoundation or #maddie’sday26 and make your yellow count.
