Collins, who plays landlady, Stella Price, in the ITV soap, will be on site between 2:00pm and 4:00pm and will cut a ribbon to launch the new concept.

Three new permanent jobs have been created and the major expansion adds 300 sq m of new retail space to the existing 800 Sq m of buildings together with 4,000 sq m of external landscaping display area, at the Oswestry site which has been in operation for 25 years.

The opening of the stores is a key element of a day of family fun with face painting and bouncy castle attractions for kids, special opening discount offers for customers and a chance to win a patio set and gas barbeque worth £1000.

TG Builders Merchants’ general manager, Kevin Gardner said: “We are excited about this new development and have invested three quarters of a million pounds in developing the centre here in Oswestry. Our Dream Patios concept is the biggest of its type in the North West and Midlands and gently guides shoppers through a light and airy plush shopping space which opens up into a stunning outdoor area with dozens of patio concept spaces.

“People are enthusiastic about their kitchens and gardens, especially with many current TV programmes dedicated to cooking, home improvements and gardening. We believe our new retail concepts will be a very popular draw for people living in and around Oswestry, and our theme is to help each of our customers find their dream patio, kitchen and bathroom,” he said.

Dream Patios and Dream Kitchens & Bathrooms are located at TG Builders Merchants, which has six outlets in Cheshire, Shropshire and Powys.

TG Builders Merchants is part of the Tudor Griffiths Group, a private family owned business also specialising in mixed concrete supplies covering the North West Midlands of England and North and West Wales.
