Independent London builders merchant Builder Depot has taken on a new fleet of forklift vehicles and trucks.

Builder Depot takes on Locators fleet

Builder Depot were supplied with 9 STILL RX60 electric trucks, a STILL FMX reach truck and a STILL EXU powered pallet truck from Wimborne-based specialist dealers Locators.

The company’s existing sideloaders, which were coming to the end of their useful life, were replaced with 3 Combilift C3000CBE multi directional trucks.

Martin Doyle, deputy general manager of Builder Depot, decided to review the usage and suitability of all types of equipment currently being used.

He said: “We had operated a mixed fleet of forklifts and sideloaders for many years and we wanted to take a fresh look at all the types of equipment available which might have been better suited to our needs.”

Symon McDowell, area sales manager for Locators Ltd said: “We had serviced part of the current Builder Depot fleet for over two years. Following a successful

demonstration of the STILL and Combilift forklifts, we were delighted to be

asked to provide a quotation for a new fleet of trucks.”
