BMF awards training success

Women won four out of six of the training awards presented at the BMF Members Day earlier this month.

Some 250 individuals went through the BMF’s apprenticeship scheme this year.

Plumbase’s Lianna Ettridge won the Level 2 Apprentice of the Year, with International Timber’s Stephanie Harris winning the Level 3 award.

In the BMF/MOL products knowledge modules, Ist place went to Michael Dixon of Builders Supply Co Kendal and Adam Thompson of Ridgeons picked up second place.

The 3rd place winner was specially commended: Karina Tyszkiewicz of Palladim Builders Merchants in Plymouth translated the modules into Polish, while Laura Kent from MKM got an additional award for her foundation certificate.
