Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
The Builders Merchants Federation talked about major industry issues at the Conservative Party Conference during a series of discussions with key Ministers in the sector.
BMF CEO John Newcomb and Policy & Public Affairs Manager, Brett Amphlett, also met the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt MP, Construction Minister Nusrat Ghani MP, the Housing Minister Rachel Maclean, and Lord Callanan, Energy Efficiency Minister.
Throughout the conversations the pair have raised the challenges in the construction sector, and posited some possible solutions, so Government are aware of the key issues currently affecting BMF members.
