Worcester Bosch introduces new head of external affairs

Manufacturer Worcester Bosch has named Ed Thomas as head of government & external affairs.

In his role, he will be the key driver of the public affairs function, working closely with external political and industry stakeholders to work towards a low-carbon future. He takes over from Martyn Bridges, who retired in September.

Thomas has a longstanding history with the Bosch Group, having worked as the UK Political Affairs and Government Coordinator in 2016 for over six years.

Worcester Bosch CEO, Jo Shepherd, comments: “Ed is a fantastic asset to our leadership team and he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and public policy expertise.

“He will play a key role in helping us continue to offer consumers a broad range of innovative technologies, enabling them to enjoy comfortable, energy-efficient homes today while supporting the transition to a more responsible future.”
