The company’s new headquarters is  situated next to its existing 80,000 sq  ft warehouse and distribution centre on the Bessingby Industrial Estate.

The relocation reflects the company’s growth over the last couple of years which includes a 1.5 acre new build depot in Scarborough , a revamp of the company’s cash customer loyalty card scheme and a successful introduction of a Premier Club points reward scheme for their trade account customers and a new website going live this month.

The company currently employ 53 members of staff and has a fleet of nine delivery vehicles covering a large area of the East and North Yorkshire coast from its three depots.

Managing director Sean Boyd says: “The new depot brings the best of our builders merchant stock range together under one roof and   incorporates a brand new state of the art Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom and decorative lighting showroom and design centre. It’s a massive bonus that the new facility is next to our unique indoor landscape centre and warehousing which increases our ability to give the best customer service possible. “

The company plans further announcements  about growth and development in 2021. Boyd says he believes that being long term members of the H&B buying group has been pivotal in the company’s development, prior to joining the group the company sold mainly lightside and timber products but over recent years have developed to what is now a complete portfolio of builders merchant products.
