Dennis Smith, managing director of Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd has joined the board of merchant buying co-operative Unimer as a Non-Executive Director.
Smith has over 35 years’ experience of the merchant industry, having started as a trainee at Jewson prior to moving to Hall & Co and progressing to operations director.
He joined Bradfords as managing director of Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd, the long established family owned South West based builders merchant in 1999.
He was an elected director of the Builders Merchant Federation from 2006 to 2011.
