London motorsport enthusiasts will have the chance to go full throttle against defending British Touring Car champion Jake Hill at a special event at Selco Builders Warehouse in Southwark.
On October 2 between 10am and 2pm customers and other members of the general public will be invited to challenge Hill on a racing simulator; in operation from 8.30am, in the ‘Silverstone Showdown,’ as well as meet and ask questions of the 31-year-old star who won the coveted BTCC title in 2024.
The event is taking place as part of Selco’s partnership with the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport team.
Hill said “I’m very excited to be going to Selco Old Kent Road. We held the first in the series of visits in Baguley in Manchester and that was a fantastic day where we had lots of great engagement with customers and colleagues alike. Meeting the fans is one of the most enjoyable parts of life as a British Touring Car Championship driver so to have the opportunity to do so away from the pressures of a race weekend is a big bonus.”
Hill will also be appearing at the Camberley store of Selco Builders Warehouse at Tuscan Trade Park on Trafalgar Way on October 21, between 10am and 2pm, with a racing simulator again, in operation from 8.30am.
