Tears and cheers at the BMJ Industry Awards 2022

The winners and runners-up in the 2022 BMJ Industry Awards were announced at the Awards Lunch in London on Friday September 9^th.

Being held less than 24 hours after the announcement of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth ll, the event was tinged with sadness as well as celebration.

A minute’s silence was held to remember Her Majesty, and BMJ Group Managing Editor Fiona Russell-Horne lead a toast to her memory and one to the new King. She also thanked Her Majesty for her years of service, her sense of duty and her commitment to her people.
