Bournemouth-based builders merchant Sydenhams have announced the acquisition of FHC Hire Centres Ltd.
The company operates from premises in Frome, and Warminster and the acquisition represents somewhat of a departure for the merchant said joint md Charles Sherbourne.
“Tool and plant hire is a new venture for Sydenhams,” he said. “FHC is a well run business supplying many of our existing customers, and offers expansion opportunities for the future.”
Immediately following the deal Rick Biddiscombe was appointed director and general manager of the business. Rick has over 20 years experience with FHC Hire Centres, being the son of the former owners.
