Plasterboard producer Siniat, has appointed Neil Ash as its new managing director from 1 January 2014.

Currently sales & commercial director for the UK and Ireland, Ash takes over from Jean-Michel Desmoutier who moves into a new pan-European role within the Etex Group.
Following Etex’s acquisition of Lafarge Plasterboard in 2011, the company re-branded as Siniat in 2012 heralding a new era for the business and an increasing focus on innovation, sustainability and delivering exceptional quality for customers.
Commenting on his new role, Ash said, “It’s an exciting time for Siniat and I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to lead such a dynamic company. We’re ambitious for ourselves and our customers and have plans for major new investments – including at our Bristol plant – together with extensions to our product lines in new markets.
“This coupled with a construction industry starting to show real signs of recovery mean there is a tremendous sense of optimism here”.
