SIG is announcing the appointment of Howard Luft as managing director, SIG U.K. Interiors, from 1st October 2024, taking over from Richard Burnley who left the business in August. He joins the business with extensive experience both on the supplier side and in the merchant sector; his most recent role prior to SIG being CEO of Selco Builders Warehouse.
Gavin Slark, CEO of SIG plc, said: “Howard’s experience across both of our stakeholder constituencies will be a huge benefit to the business and I am personally delighted to welcome his drive, focus and leadership skills which will help SIG drive forward.”
The SIG Interiors business is a supplier of specialist insulation and interiors products and solutions, differentiated through specialist knowledge and product mix. Specialist brands include Kitsons, a leading distributor of technical insulation, and Ocula, which supplies a range of internal partitioning solutions.
