Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
SIG Roofing & Roofline, part of the SIG Group, has bought SR Timber, a distributor of sawn roofing timber.
SR Timber will continue to trade as a separate entity with no change to its range of branded products, including the Premium Gold roofing batten range.
The move is part of SIG’s objective to bring specialist roofing products to the market.
SIG Roofing & Roofline managing director Philip Johns said: “This acquisition will help both strengthen our business and support our vision and through continuous investment and innovation, we will be able to offer even greater added value to our roofing solutions.”
