Transport company S&L Services is investing in and rebranding their fleet following a new partnership deal with timber supplier SCA Timber Supply UK.
After working with SCA for over 4 years, who have been major contributors to the growth of the company, S&L are investing around £500,000 in new equipment and are currently rebranding their fleet with their new livery. The newly liveried fleet will also bear the SCA logo on the back of all vehicles to show their business partnership.
As an ongoing process, S&L are updating and increasing their fleet including the addition of 12 more trailers bearing the new livery.
SCA Timber, currently accounting for 70% of S&L’s freight movements, will also have a dedicated trailer with curtains displaying the SCA colours and slogan: ‘WOOD. We know it because we grow it.’
S&L managing director, Lee Durose, said: “Our rebrand is a testament to our expansion. With the commitment received from SCA we wanted to take the business a step further, and it seemed like the perfect time to brand our vehicles in our new S&L livery. The past 12 months has seen our business grow quite rapidly which has been down to our partnership with SCA. Really it is down to them that we have been able to do this, and as a tribute of our commitment to them, we wanted to display the SCA logo on all of our fleet.”
John Griffiths, SCA’s managing director said: “SCA have been working for S&L for over 4 years and we have been very pleased with their performance and commitment. We have recently conducted a competitive tender process and we are delighted that S&L has been successful in securing 50% of our distribution requirements.”
