Pavestone adds head of marketing role

Brand and marketing consultant, Carl Knowles, has joined landscaping materials supplier Pavestone as head of marketing from the start of January 2026.

Knowles, who formerly ran his own marketing consultancy Thinck Creative, has worked with the Pavestone team for more than 18 years and brings more than 40 years’ experience in advertising, marketing and brand development to the role.

In addition to Pavestone, he has worked with brands including, Jewson, Travis Perkins, Keyline, Aggregate Industries, Bradstone, Stonemarket and Forest Garden.

Managing director Krystal Williams, says: “After spending almost two decades working as an extension of our team, we are delighted to confirm that Carl is finally joining us and will now officially be a member of Team Pavestone. A familiar face to Pavestone employees and many of our merchant partners, Carl brings considerable marketing expertise and, importantly, has an in-depth understanding of our industry.  Carl will be a valuable addition to our senior team and his appointment will enable us to further develop the Pavestone brand while providing additional marketing support to our merchant partners.”
