Cowal Building and Plumbing Supplies’ in-house software developer, Jim MacDonald, and his professional dance partner Pamela, scored a perfect 10 at Calum’s Cabin Does Strictly Come Dancing, raising money for the charity.
Calum’s Cabin, a Scottish children’s cancer charity which provides holiday homes for families effected by childhood cancer, held the event at Crowne Plaza hotel on August 29, where the performance received full 10s from the judges.
On the company’s JustGiving page prior to the contest Macdonald commented: “Having never danced before, and knowing I have to perform in front of several hundred people, and judges, I can honestly say that this is the most terrifying thing I have attempted to do.
“Fortunately, I have been paired with a wonderful professional dancer called Pamela, who not not only will be my dance partner throughout the event, she has the unenviable task of trying to teach me how to dance.
“Anything you are able to donate to this wonderful cause is truly appreciated, and will be greatly received by Calum’s Cabin.”
Donations are still open, helping supporting children and families across Scotland.
