Optimera partners with Alrik to transform transport operations

Builders merchant Optimera, part of Saint-Gobain, has selected Swedish AI company Alrik as its long-term transport technology partner.

The AI platform is designed to turn scattered operational data from across hundreds of branches, carriers, ERP and TMS systems into usable information builders merchants, materials suppliers and rental companies can use to plan, price and track every delivery in one place.

As customer expectations continue to evolve, Optimera is investing in greater visibility, control and flexibility across its transport operations, strengthening the service it provides today and preparing for future requirements. The rollout gives Optimera a live, shared picture of deliveries across its 64 branches.
