Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Independent builders merchant buying group National Merchant Buying Society has announced that anyone in the merchant industry may attend its conference next, whether they are members of NMBS or not.
The open invitation to the conference – scheduled to be held in Spain next June – will, the NMBS board says: “enable the widest strategic debate to take place at the event which will give the industry context for the challenges and opportunities that face us all, both merchants and suppliers.”
Rod Bennion NMBS Chairman says “The Board at NMBS made an early decision to hold an NMBS conference for its Members and Suppliers and remains totally committed to delivering a very successful event. By making the event open to all in the Industry we believe it will be even more successful.”
NMBS says it will seek input from all the leading organisations to ensure that the conference content is relevant to both independent members and the industry at large.
The NMBS event will be held at the Don Carlos Resort & Spa in Marbella on June 21-24.
The BMF also plans an all-industry conference, at the Hotel Tivoli Marina in Vilamoura, Portugal, on June 14-17.
