MPH moves in Cannock

Independent plumbers merchant MPH Plumbing merchant in Cannock has moved to larger premise following growth in sales and customer numbers.

Previously H&S Spares; MPH acquired the business in December 2015 and has since experienced strong and consistent growth. MPH is part of the Kellaway Group, based in Bristol, and also has branches in Halesowen, Telford, Poole, Ferndown, Torquay and Blandford.

The move offers a significantly greater shop and warehouse space enabling an increased range of stock as well as vastly improved facilities for both customers and staff. Operations director Chris Edwards says: “The feedback we have had from customers regarding the move has been great; the shop is much lighter and the number and range of products has increased considerably.”

In addition, the new site offers an opportunity for a large bathroom showroom, which will be opening later in the year. Edwards continues “We are looking to provide homeowners with a local independent showroom, offering a great experience and a wide range of products at highly competitive prices.” With the upcoming addition of the showroom, MPH will also be significantly increasing the number of staff working at the branch.

Branch manager Will Davies says:

It will enable us to diversify our product range and provide even higher levels of service as well as gives us greater room to grow. We have seen a lot of success since MPH acquired the business and all the staff are enthused about these latest developments.”
