Methven, the shower and tapware manufacturer, has appointed Chris Lane as social housing manager covering the London area.
Lane’s 35 years of industry experience began working on trade counters at builders merchants, before moving into a variety of roles across showroom, contract and sales positions, ultimately specialising in social housing.
His new role will involve supporting social housing customers in achieving product specifications.
Methven holds three out of six global patents for showering technology, including its water efficiency-focused Satinjet technology.
For social housing providers, Methven has created a Water Saving Calculator, which highlights the accumulated energy, water and cost savings that can be achieved by a simple change of shower head.
Lane said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at Methven – we have a fantastic opportunity to make a real positive impact for our customers and reduce water usage without any compromise on performance.
“Working across the London area also means there is great scope for us to reach more people as water usage becomes an increasingly hot topic. We have the products, knowledge and market history to lead these conversations and provide the most efficient solutions possible.”
