Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Northampton builders and plumbers merchant Martin & Partners held its annual Family Fun day on Friday in aid of the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
The day featured 16 of Martin & Partners’ key suppliers including Makita, Dickies, Stabila, Rothenberger, C-TEC, Swish & Reisser, with the theme being Green Products. Navitron’s exhibtion unit featured a demonstration of their solar water heating system.
The day attracted trade and DIY customers as well as local businesses and the general public. Children’s TV character Bob the Builder was in attendance handing out lollies to the children, there was also a bouncy castle and face painting.
A customer of Martin & Partners, Jim Davidson of The Project Network, drove his recently completed Ultima GTR car on its first outing; he had used C T 1 Sealant supplied by M & P to seal the body against the elements.
Martin & Partners’ next charity event will be a golf day.
