Trade paint brand Leyland came to the rescue of a county darts team in Dundee.

The stage boards used by the Tay Valley County Darts team at their home venue, the Black Watch Club in the heart of Dundee, were in need of a lick of paint ahead of the new season.
Because of Leyland’s sponsorship of leading darts players, Simon ‘The Wizard’ Whitlock and Mark ‘Spider’ Webster, the team turned to the Leeds-based paint maker.
The team committee took on the task of repainting the boards themselves, using Leyland’s Acrylic Primer Undercoat, which dries quickly and has low odour, to treat the boards before applying Vinyl Matt in both red and black for a smooth, yet durable finish.
Tay Valley Darts vice-president Clive Duncan said: “We are all delighted with how the boards have turned out and look forward to seeing them take centre stage over the course of the season.”
