Sixteen models in Leisure Sinks’ portfolio of taps, from the Aquanomic, through to Pillar and Deck Mixer taps, have achieved WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved product status.

WRAS is the approval scheme of the UK Water Industry, which ensures that all products it endorses have been shown to comply with the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and amendments.
These stipulate that ‘a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard.’ WRAS Approval is accepted by every water supplier in the UK.
John Peter, director of trade sales at Leisure Sinks, said: “WRAS approved taps offer installers and specifiers peace of mind, as it proves every component has been rigorously tested to meet the highest quality standards. Metal components are tested for mechanical and water quality, while any non-metallic components – such as ‘O’ rings, for example – are tested for any impact on water quality.”
Leisure Sinks offers a vast selection of taps, with styles ranging from elegant swan-necked to practical pillar taps, with many designs to match homeowners’ choice of sink.
The Aquanomic range, in particular, has been developed using a water usage calculator, restricting flow to 3.8 litres per minute, ensuring less waste and lower running costs.
All of the company’s taps come complete with a five-year warranty.
