Lafarge Plasterboard was the main sponsor of the Lighthouse Club’s East of Scotland annual charity dinner, which took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh recently.
Almost 500 guests attended the dinner, which raised nearly £30,000 for the construction industry charity.
Lafarge sales and commercial manager for Scotland and the north east, Barrie Shepherd, is the welfare officer for the Lighthouse Club in Scotland so was a key driver in organising the promotion of the dinner.
He said, “The event was a huge success and a great tribute to all those at the Lighthouse Club who do so much to support the construction industry all year round.”
