Insulation supplier Knauf Insulation will be appearing at this year’s NMBS Exhibition in Telford on May 16.
The company will be promoting its range of Earthwool DriTherm Cavity Slabs, through a full-fill application approach. The semi-rigid or rigid slabs, made of non-combustible glass mineral wool, offer a formal 50 year guarantee.
The ECOSE® Technology formaldehyde-free binding process significantly enhances the environmental benefits and sustainability of Earthwool whilst still delivering all the benefits of traditional mineral wool. ECOSE Technology is also up to 70% less energy intensive than traditional oil based binders, producing a ‘super-soft’ and easier to handle wool, with a natural brown colour.
Lastly, the new addition to Knauf Insulation’s roofing and flooring range – Polyfoam ECO – now achieves a GWP of less than five and an ODP of zero. The rigid, lightweight insulation boards are easy to install and have the benefits of outstanding structural strength, long-term effectiveness, moisture resistance and excellent thermal performance.
