Builders merchant Jewson, part of the STARK group, is supporting local communities across its nationwide branch network, donating vital funds and resources to initiatives around the UK.
Jewson Croydon recently sponsored a new playground installation at Quest Primary School, and Jewson Aylesbury supported apprentices at Aylesbury College, kitting them out with goodie bags and coordinating a training course with Jewson partner TuffStuff.
This partnership, and the Quest Primary School funding, is part of Jewson’s community outreach strategy that empowers local branches to help key causes in local areas, donating time, funds and skills to make a difference.
Kenny Hope, regional director at Jewson, said: “We are always looking for ways to support the communities around our branches, and these have been two perfect opportunities to give something back to establishments looking to truly enhance the experiences of their pupils. Both initiatives will provide enrichment for local youngsters for many years to come.”
