Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK Ltd, was named Livery of the Year finalist at the Motor Transport Awards 2025.
The truck design, chosen by Jewson’s drivers, forms a significant part of the business’s re-brand, which was launched in 2024, following its acquisition by the Denmark-based STARK Group in 2023.
Over the past 30 months, the Coventry-based business has been implementing a significant investment programme to improve its branch and logistics network to offer the UK’s general builders and specialise tradespeople the products, availability, service and value they need to grow their businesses. Transforming its transport infrastructure and operations is a key part of the company’s growth plans.
STARK UK chief logistics officer Ranald Forbes says: “I could not be more thrilled for our drivers – it’s really their Award. We wanted our drivers to be involved in the new truck design, it’s their office after all, and we want them to be proud as they make their deliveries to site. Our drivers are the face of our business when out on the road, and the new vehicle livery is a visual reminder that our customers can trust in better as Jewson continues to evolve and improve as a proud partner to the trades.”
