Huws Gray has chosen Freefoam as a supplier considering the company’s route to market as best-suited to its model.
Kris Jones, category manager for flat roofing, building products and external cladding at Huws Gray, said: “Freefoam offer the complete package in terms of what we need for a roofline partner. The Freefoam product range is superb.
“Key to our success is having a strong stock range in the branches, we try and stock a broad range of Freefoam products. Since we started doing that, we have seen a significant increase in sales. Colour sales makes up a significant part of our roofline business now. Whenever we put new products into a branch, there’s always a representative from Freefoam there to do staff training and help merchandise the products.
“We’ve recently brought in Freefoam’s Fortex range of cladding products. We see cladding as a real boom sector for us, sales are really strong and we felt that having it in a PVC option would really add to our range. The customer feedback we’ve had regarding the Fortex range is just how easy it is to work with, it’s very light, installation is a lot quicker – it’s been a really successful product for us.
“Freefoam has been really supportive of our expansion and it’s been really important to have a partner we have grown with. We’ve got a great relationship with Freefoam, whether it be with the directors, or the sales reps and the guys in the office who look after us really well.”
