Irish builders merchant Grafton Group plc has appointed Paul Roche as renewables director.
His principal objective will be to grow sales and margins for Grafton’s UK merchant brands in the emerging marketplace.
Roche has specialised in the sector for a number of years with specific experience in the building industry. His aim is to help the Grafton brands understand and capitalise on the huge sales potential for renewables.
“Although there is keen competition from many different suppliers and retailers in this field, we can help our customers feel confident about installing this technology, particularly as a retrofit product,” he says.
“The diverse subject of renewables can seem daunting but my aim is to simplify the sales message and focus our energies in several selected product sectors that, we believe, will be productive for Grafton and our customers.”
