Garador launches e-pod delivery service

Garage door manufacturer, Garador, has invested in a new electronic proof of delivery (E-pod) system in order to offer a more informative and accurate delivery service.

Through text messages to a mobile phone or by email, the E-pod system will provide customers with automated notifications of delivery times. They will also be given full access to a quick and clear tracking system, which will be regularly updated to reflect any change in delivery times.  Even in the best organised transport system, traffic and other problems can cause slight hold ups and the new system will give customers a far more accurate idea of when their door order will arrive.

Managing director Simon Hipgrave says:  “We understand the frustration and problems our customers face when there is uncertainty over delivery time and feel that this additional service will really help our customers to manage their building projects better, as they will have more information on when their door will arrive.”

The timing of delivery of large items such as garage doors can be a crucial aspect in a build. With Garador’s new E-pod system customers will be kept right up to date with accurate indications of real time delivery. In addition to this, the E-Pod system is also a greener solution as it is electronic and does therefore not require the printing of hundreds of sheets of paper, as a proof of delivery.
