Wood-based panel manufacturer Egger has expanded its OSB manufacturing capacity to 1 million m3 per annum.

Egger UK specification manager, Dan Clarke, said the company is committed in the long-term to supplying the Timber Frame sector in the UK.
He added: “Because we have state-of-the-art Conti-Roll production systems we are able to manufacture high-quality OSB boards where the strand orientation can be optimised to produce panels which are stronger, and more stable to help reduce any movement caused by moisture in the environment, resulting in fewer issues on site.
“If required, we also have the technology to supply our customers with larger sized OSB panels which are over 6.00m in length. When the boards are used as Sips panels they can significantly reduce installation times.”
Egger has two distribution hubs based in Perth, Scotland and The Port of Seaham in North East England, both allowing mixed load distribution.
