Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Sussex independent builders merchant Chandlers Building Supplies has bought the assets of Tiger Timber Ltd.
The acquisition marks Chandlers’ first move into Surrey – Tiger Timber has branches in Chertsey and Great Bookham.
The company focuses on timber and heavyside products, though the Chertsey branch also has a kitchen department.
Tiger Timber’s managing director Trevor Mudd, will join the Board of Chandlers Building Supplies.
Chandlers is a member of the Cemco independent builders merchant buying group.
